Is it ok to take birth control and allergy meds at the same time?

I just wondered if there might be some sort of chemical reaction that would lessen the effects of either the birth control or the allergy meds if I take them together.

In 20 years of nursing I have never heard of interactions between birth control pills and allergy medications. If you have any questions regarding medications, please ask the pharmicist where you shop. They will be happy to answer your questions.
