So uncomfortable 31 weeks and Allergy medicine? |
My little girl (bless her heart) is a mover and shaker!! Granted i LOVE feeling her move all over but it's getting painful. She's transverse right now (at least I think she is) because I feel her mostly on my sides... Is it safe for me to move my stomach around to try to get her in a different position because this just is awfully painful. Anyone else went through this? Also- on a side note question. My doctor told me that I was ok to take my Claritin D for my allergies (which have been bothering me) but I read someplace that you aren't supposed to take decongestants...anyone taken them and everything has been fine? I figured since my doctor said it was ok, I'd take her word but now I'm doubting myself and her... Let me know of personal experiences. Thanks in advance! First of all congrats. during my pregnancies I always "played" with my babies and when they would kick or stick an elbow out I would gently push it back in...as long as you aren't trying to do something drastic you are not going to hurt your baby. Also....I wouldn't have made it through my last two pregnancies without Claritin! I have a beautiful healthy 18 month old little boy....and a beautiful and perfectly healthy six week old baby girl. Hope that helps I've always suffered of seasonal allergies but now that I am pregnant (16 weeks) they have increased in severity. Constant sneezing, watery eyes, itchy throat...it was driving me crazy. I used to take Claritin but didn't want to anymore since i knew I was pregnant. Finally I asked my doctor if I was even allowed take any allergy medicine and without hesitation she said Zyrtec. I tried it and it has definitely helped! Ask your doctor what other options on allergy medicine are available to you. Hopefully something you will be comfortable with! i am 32 weeks, and my ribs hurt with my son, go ahead and move your stomach around, if you dont have a high risk pregnancy go right ahead, talk to her even and say sorry but mommy's got to move you your killing me lol, really my ultrasound tech yesterday moved my stomach around, its uncomfortable but as long gently move your stomach you will be fine. As for the medicine my doctor told me to take benedryl which i feel is better, and safer but your prob safe, since all meds have that warning to cover their butts in case anything happens, nobody sues them. |
