Is it normal for my 46th allergy shot to make a red welp about a 50 cent size?

Is it normal for my 46th allergy shot to make a red welp about a 50 cent size?

It's not really normal, but does happen. You can react at any point in the course of your shots, which is why they have you stay in the office. Does your doctor have you take allergy medicine before you get the shots? If not, you might want to ask if you should.

I get welts and swellings at least that big every shot, god it sucks. I've had my arm swollen from shoulder to elbow, rock hard, and needed to get prednisone to stop it from worsening.
