Herbal remedies for allergy symptoms?

Are there any herbal remedies that can relieve the symptoms of allergies- especially to cats?

I am prescribed some pretty heavy duty antihistamines, but I hate the side effects. I'd rather take something herbal if and when I need it

Boiron makes a natural allergy/sinus homeopathic. I have not tried their allergy product, but I have tried their flu version and the sinus infection version and think they are both great. You can find this at Vitamin Shoppe and probably Wal-Greens. Also try online.

I have a friend of mine who takes a tsp of honey every day and it helps his allergies. It has to be honey made locally but it works. My doctor told me to put just a little bit of vasoline inside my nose when Im going to be outdoors or around something I'm allergic to because it keeps the pollen from getting inside of your nose. . No, nothing works but decongestants, i have same problem and take 20 mg of sudafed or fake sudafed every morning for my allergies!
