Need some help about mono/allergies?

I was diagnosed with mono about 2 months ago. The symptoms went away ( for the most part ) but every so often ( like now) my glands will swell up and fatigue will set back in. I have been to the doctor and she thinks it's allergies??? Please, someone with experience tell me what you think. Should I seek a second opinion? Thanks....

Swollen glands sounds more like the mono, which can take several months to clear from your system. Both mono and allergies prompt an immune response (in different ways) which can lead to the swollen glands. If you want to confirm allergies, I would visit an allergist, they can tell you for sure. Allergies can also make you feel tired. When all is said and done, the answer will probably be a little of both. Best of luck.

You can get swollen glands from post nasal drip, which is caused by allgergies. Mono could still be lingering though.

Yet, my best guess is allgergies because allergies give you alot of symptoms which seem similar to mono and many other diseases/infections. The symptoms of allergies are endless.
Try using an otc antihistamine for a while and see if that makes a difference.
