I get allergies when I go to someone else鈥檚 house?

Every time I go to sleep over at one of my friend鈥檚 house I get really bad allergies, how do I prevent that from happening? Thanks

Usually when I lie on her bed then my nose gets stuffy and runny.

first you have to find out what is causing your allergies at your friend's house...

then you can find a way to prevent it.

If they have a pet, it might be that. If not, they might have a lot of dust mites! They are pretty gross looking (even though you can only see them under a microscope!). Ask her to wash her sheets before you come over again, and if possible, rub dryer sheets on the bedding as well. If she washes her sheets once a week, the dust mites won't populate as much. Maybe you could come over during the day and help her clean her room, so it's a team effort, and at the end of the day you are accomplished and can sleep great in clean sheets in a clean room!

I would buy what is called a hypo-allergenic pillow, or even just using your own pillow can make a big difference.
