If i am (on lamicatal) seizer medacation what kind of allergy medaction can i take?

I wouldnt rely on Yahoo Aswers for this - the best person to target this question to would be your pharmacist or neurologist.
I can tell you that lamictal is a medication with relatively fewer drug interactions than the older anti-epileptic drugs such as dilantin, depakote or tegretol.
I do not know of any allergy medications that interact with lamictal. Which medication were you thinking about?
Again, to be totally safe, ask your pharmacist. Source(s): I am a neurologist
I've been taking Lamictal for over a year now, and it's never interfered with anything I've taken for my allergies. My psychiatrist and my GP both said that it is okay to take my daily Lamictal and Hydroxyzine at the same time. Hydroxyzine, or Atarax, is an antihistamine.

I've also taken Benadryl and OTC antihistamines with my Lamcital, and that's never been a problem.

I agree that you should discuss this with a doctor, though. It's alwys best to be safe.
