Is coughing ( a dry cough ) a sign or symptom of an allergy?

i have allergies.basic stuff like itchy throat, sneezing, watery eyes.but latley ( 3 months ) i ve had this really bad dry cough and it wont go away. it effects my breathing. it sounds like thers fluid in my breathing. if its bad enough it causes me to throw up. i dont know what is causing this reaction. i dont have asthma or any respitory problems. but it sounds like i got one now.

It is a symptom, it could mean anything. Have it checked out.Time to see your doctor.
Well, the thing with fluid in your breathing... that doesn't sound too much like allergy, but who knows... You should go see a doctor.
It definitely could be allergies. My son had that problem but please see the doctor. If it is allergies they can give you something to help you, if it isn't you need to find out now!

Hi.

It may, indeed, simply be a symptom of an allergy/asthma but a persistent cough especially if associated with shortness of breath merits a full assessment by your own Dr.
