Why would my body be rejecting the white half of an Allegra D allergy pill?

Sounds gross, but seriously I see the white half in the toliet everytime I take an Allegra D. And what part is the white part, the decongestant or the antihistimine?

I've never taken Allegra D, so I may be wrong in my explanation. There are some medications (an example is wellbutrin xl for depression) which is encased in a white shell. This shell releases the medication into your system, but is not digested or dissolved by your system. It passes through your system and is eliminated. This may be what you're seeing. Now, if the Allegra D is part white, and part another color, then my answer probably wouldn't apply and maybe someone else has a better answer. But, this is what I've found with some meds. Hope it helps you! Source(s): personal experience
