What can I take to help me rid myself of a mosquito allergy?

Just recently I have acquired a MOSQUITO ALLERGY. Before, like most people, I would just develop a littl red itchy bump. Now my where the bite is, my skin swells up twice the size of a half dollar; also it can puff up/out to as big as a golfball. I am 20 years old, and this has happened to me atleast 4 times in the last month (July/August). Yet this has NEVER happened before. I went to the E.R. and they said I was just allergic and prescribed anti-biotics. Just recently I went camping in Delaware, and I acquired 7, yes SEVEN, of the same sized reactions all over my body. Anti-histamine does not work, DEET does not work, OFF! bugspray does not work, and i LOVE THE OUTDOORS so i will not stay inside. HELP? ALLERGIST? What should I do to prevent, treat my problem?

Not to worry! I have the same problem, and it came on just as suddenly. There is a product made that'll make things easier for you. The product is called "StingEze" - it contains an analgesic to kill the pain and itch, and it also contains an antiseptic to kill germs. It doesn't cure the problem, but it does reduce the swelling quite a bit and the itching doesn't last as long either. It's a fairly inexpensive product, so I have one in my purse, my car and another to put in my pocket if I'm out hiking.
Two things... Don't eat banana's during misquito season- doing so will attract misquito's to bite you. Get a stick of 'afterbite'. It's an alcohol/amonia smelling thing and you rub it on the misquito bite as soon as you are bitten. So long as you get it on the bite within about a minute of being bitten you will probably have no reaction or little red bump at all. If it's an hour later then the afterbite stick is probably not going to work.
AVON makes a product called skin-so-soft that repels mosquitoes! This was discovered accidentally, so now they make some other products that work also. These products have been recommended to people that travel to countries that have malaria-infested mosquitoes!! Also, to try to relieve the itch try an anti-itch lotion with 1% cortisone.
ps -i do not sell avon
