Is it true the williamete valley in Oregon is the worst place for allergy sufferies?

I live here, and I have had VERY bad allergies most of my life. Until I started smoking, that is.

I heard the Sacramento Valley in california is far worse
Not the worst; Austin, Texas is the worst for year-round allergies in my experience!
Actually, here are the top ten worst, according to one pharmaceutical manufacturer:

Kansas City, Missouri/Kansas
Louisville, KY
Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL
Tulsa, OK
Atlanta, GA
Austin-San Marcos, TX
St. Louis, MO
Sacramento, CA
Orlando, FL
Indianapolis, IN.

I don't know why the Willamette Valley isn't on the list! They also have an incredibly high pollen count in the spring and summer. Here's a link about your specific location, when the allergies occur, what the allergens are, and how to avoid and treat them:

Spring in Atlanta has to be the worst! We consistently have pollen counts over 2000 from mid March to mid April.
