cravings for that food? Does this work in case of allergies as well?

I get hungry for carrots and I've not been able to eat a carrot since I was 8 because that's when I started with allergies and believe it or not I formed a allergy to carrots and break out in hives. SO I guess so but then again maybe I'm just odd?
