What is the best type of dog to buy if you have a mild allergy to dogs? a Labradoodle is supposed to be good for those with allergies ... it's a cross between a Labrador Retreiver & a poodle. They're pretty cute (and I don't particularly care for dogs usually) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/labradoodle... They're also really intelligent. We have friends who are using one as a service dog for their handicapped son. u should probably try a cat...instead one that doesn't shed a lot. i am allergic to dogs and cats both, but i have a poodle and no problems at all a cat A hotdog.
