Do I have any medical reasons for limiting my use of over-the-counter anti-allergy medication?

Do I have any medical reasons for limiting my use of over-the-counter anti-allergy medication?

Why don't you just take a 24-hour non-drowsy medication? I take one Claritin tab every morning and it fights all the symptoms of allergies for a solid 24 hours.
i would ask my doctor that question.
Yes, "benadryl" made my blood pressure very high
Yes, antihistamines used in over-the-counter allergy medications can cause an elevation in blood pressure. This a case where OTC medications should be monitored by a physican.
