When I eat or drink and get too full, why does my nose get congested, almost like a allergy feeling?

I can think of two reasons that this happens. One, when you are chewing, you are breathing through your nose only, so you are reacting more to allergens. If you have allergies which cause you to typically breathe through your mouth, this will be amplified. A second reason, is if you eat heated food that is giving off steam or heat, it could be causing your nasal passages to swell, thus the feeling of congestion.
