Scalp problem-Itchy,red and scaly. I have a feeling it has something to do with a coconut allergy! ??????????? |
My scalp started to get really red and itchy. At first a doctor told me it was cirrhoisis and reccommended a coconut oil for my scalp. within a few hours my scalp came out in lumps and i was itching it like mad. at the moment i have to use a steriod oil on my scalp 'diprosalic lotion' to clear it up. i cant use any shampoos except 'linco beer shampoo' as they all contain coconut or derivatives of coconut....any advice off anyone? plz im desperate its horrible.... Apple cider vinegar. Not as a shampoo, but to take care of the red itchies. This will work if your initial problem is due to a candida fungus infection. Try some on a small spot first. It will sting really badly, if the skin is broken. Your doctor probably said it was psoriasis as cirrhoisis is hardening of bodily organs (as in liver). If this works (and it should as psoriasis can be due to a candida fungus infections), check out the yeast link at www.hufa.org for more information on yeast. Source(s): www.hufa.org is a website run by Hypoglycemics United to Foster Awareness, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational corporation. Pegasus 90 is a co-founder and the current president of the organization. do you have lice?? Don't eat the coconuts... Psoriasis info: http://www.psoriasis.org/treatment/psori... Use a shampoo and conditioner that contains "tea tree"oil. I prefer Paul Mitchell. You will experience immediate relief.Isn't cirrhoisis a liver disease? Put the alcohol on your head instead of in your stomach. It sounds like Psoriasis, it is a common affliction in the scalp, the itching is not uncommon after the afected area is irritated. You should discuss the treatment with your M.D. or Dermatologist. Depending on the location you may find that treatment with Anthralin and Salacilyc Acid in a compound form as prescribed by your M.D. will be very helpful. |
