I ate Chinese food and got rashes all over my body and the Doctor said it was the sun?Is it a Food allergy?

It could be an allergy to the MSG they put in their food. My family is allergic to it as well and get rashes. Just ask that they don't put it on the food when they prepare yours.

Sounds like hives which is due to an allergy of some kind, whether you touched something, ingested something or are coming down with some kind of bug.
My mother in law ate too many oranges once and had the same reaction, so maybe

It is a food allergy. You are allergic to a certain kind of Chinese food that you ate. You 1st should go find out what food made you allergy then try to avoid eating that certain food to prevent it from happening again
propbably food allergy.try to eat that food and if you got rashes again,i am sure it is food allergy!
It could be an allergic reaction to the monosodiumgluconate MSG in Chinese food or if they cooked with peanut oil maybe peanuts.Stay away until you check with your doc.Try Benadryl
