I feel miserable because the allergy,i try everityng over the counter.nothing work.pls, help me!..? if no over the counter medications are working, then maybe it's time to go to your doctor for a prescription strength medication. i just started using a netti pot )as seen on oprah ...i've been using it a week and have had an 80% decrease in sinus pain and pressure...it's great! you may need to go see an E.N.T Doctor that speciializes in allergies they can test you to see what you are allergic to & prescribe to correct medicine for you & also give you some helpful hints in what you can do to ease the pain of the allerigies have you tried claritin? only thing that works for me... also if I don't eat anything with gluten it really helps. I have multiple allergies. I used to take benadryl but when i found out i had more than i thought i went to the allergist and thats when i found out. They then prescribed flonase for allergies that build up in my nose and zyrtec which is a pill so far everything is under control. So if nothing over the counter is working go see an allergist. It helps to do that and find out what you are allergic to exactly. I also have such problem. Sometimes , it goes worst. I go to the doctor for relief medicines. I couldn't find any healing drugs even the doctors couldn't understand and never knew how to cure it. Nevertheless, Don't give up. If it persist, always try other options like aroma healing, tea bath, salt water bath, etc. and watchout for your foods like eggs meat, etc. you may not know it but it simply from the foods you are eating. Allergy, the word, covers a wide range of symptoms. One must qualify the type of symptoms to choose the best treatment. If you refer to sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes. You first need to deduce the causative agent or agents. If the problem is the release of histamines within the upper respiratory system the best usual treatment would be an antihistamine drug. Pollens, molds, mildew, dander, and many other things cause reaction of the immune system. keep a journal of the attacks, and what you have been exposed to on those days. over a few months you should show a pattern to the attacks and be able to decide what thing, or things are giving you the problem. That is when you will find the best solution to your allergy problem. |
