Grape allergy?

I have just assumed care for my 2.5 year old granddaughter. Our usual snack is a p-nut butter and jelly sandwich. Naturally most of it ends up on her face. Now she has a rash there. I of course clean her face right after eating but she says the rash burns.
On her fathers side is sensitivity to sunlight, psoriasis, and allergy to seafood. On her mothers side there are no allergies. Obviously she needs to go to the Docs and her mother is going there next week. I'm just wondering if it's the grapes? Is this common?

Unlikely to be the grape in grape jelly because it is an uncommon allergen and also a low amount of grape. Much more likely to be peanut butter if it is an allergy. Allergies actually usually don't show up the first time the food is eaten, so it could be peanut butter even if she has eaten it already. Don't feed her peanuts until she sees the doctor.
Some kids have skin sensitivity to some foods on the face. (I haven't heard of skin sensitivity to pb or j, but dairy and citrus are possible.) My daughter breaks out if she eats oranges. It may help to bring in a close up photo of the rash if she still has it.
g'luck and don't beat yourself up.
Peanut allergies are more common than grape allergies. Don't give her anymore sandwhiches unti then though.
I think grape jelly would contain very little grape and lots of sugar... would be more concerned over what you are wiping her face with, the soap or the towel, or peanut allergy...
It could be sugar from the jelly too. My sister is allergic to coconut do my parents had to test why she couldn't eat any thing. Just see what all she is sensitive to. Grape jelly, apple jelly etc.
