Does allergies cause a low grade fever? |
Does allergies cause a low grade fever? I suffer from horrible allergies... Not too long ago, during an extended allergy attack (one that lasted for weeks) I ended up with what appeared to be a sinus infection, altho, not all of the classic sinus infection signs where there. My doctor did prescribe an antibiotic which cleared it up. I'm not a doctor but would recommend you go see one to rule out any infection. As a side note, I was told that left untreated (and/or un-managed), chronic allergies can lead to asthma. I can see why that could be true because lately my allergy attacks have resulted in me struggling to breathe...My doctor ended up prescribing an inhaler. I only need it occasionally and am really glad I have it during those times!! Source(s): Experience with horrible allergies allergytreatmentpro.com yes it sure can!
