I have an Allergy will it go away????

I developed a skin allergy a few years ago... Not sure what it is.. I dont rash or anything I just itch. I take Zertec about every three days to keep it away. If I dont take my pill I itch like crazy all over usually starts at my hands, feet,or head first then migrates all over. And when I scratch it will leave severe inflamation. I asked my doctor at the time when I first developed it what it could be and he thought it was, I think he called it Golden Rod or something like that. Cant remember... I'm just tired of having it and taking pills every other day... Does anyone have any clues to what it might be and how to end it. My new doc dosent really know either. And it's not seasonal. I have it all the time any season any day.

ok if this jst flurr up w/ some seasons... then guess what... u need to keep taking something EVERY day... not jst for a few days then quite.

If u don't want to take Rx or over the counter meds...then try a Health Store for natural rememdies.

Sometimes u grow out of it & sometimes u don't. It also depends where u live & where u live in the place that u live. Meaning if u live SW part of town & u move to the NE part of town, u may not have that problem as mch. OR if u move to anthr town or even state.

If it bothers u that mch, get tested for it along w/ others & they give u the allergic item back into u'r body to build up emuinties. Source(s): i've had allergies since jr.high
You should see an allergist and have skin tests done to find out what is really going on. It could be just about anything in your environment causing this if it is a year around problem.
Could be exima (I think thats how it is spelled).. anyways.. its a disorder of the skin that is really itchy. There are medication creams available via Pharmacy and dry skin needs to be avoided so lather up with lotion that contains NO alcohol, because alcohol dries out the skin. This should help ya!
