Best air purifier for severe dust allergies? |
I'm looking to spend from $50-100. My symptoms include red eye, clogged nose, sneezing, and swollen vocal cords. May I suggest using a Neti pot or a sinus rinse? You basically rinse your nose out with a saline solution which sounds disgusting :). It rinses out the allergens (rather than desensitizing your nose with a nasal spray) and you usually almost instantly start feeling better. I got desperate enough to try it one day, and now I don't need an air filter other than occasionally. It works well for colds as well. It's funny because I have several friends who I told about rinsing their nose out and they reacted the same way I did at first, with an EWWW, and then they started asking me how to use it hehe. Here are a couple of stories from National Public Radio about it. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story... and http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story... there is tons of dirt in your carpet get rid of it get yourself a hupoalergenic maress cover for dead skin and dustmites your matress doubles in weight in ten years (or do what i did buy yourself a kirby vacumm cleanner they sell them door to door and it works great!!!!!! kirby.com The Sharper Image Ionic Breeze really helps lot.
