Is a Yorkie terrier good for people with allergies?

Is a Yorkie terrier good for people with allergies?

They're just fine. I have severe allergies and I do own a Yorkie. I've never had any type of allergy flair-up. She does shed a little bit, and I mean LITTLE bit. Wouldn't trade her for anything!!
no. they have long hair. a short hair dog would be much better.
yes, I know some people who's allergies act up with any other dog and with yorkies they don't. In addition to that they are so much fun and have great personalities.
yes i have a Carin terrier (practicly the same thing as a yorkie exept wirey hair) and my whole family has allergies andwe're perfectly fien with the dog
not really but the chi dogs are great for all kinds of things I'm told
I don't think yorkies are one of the hypoallergenic breeds. Poodles and poodle mixes are, though.
well apparently they have odorless hair an d hardly shed.
however why don't you get a dog who's hair is a bit more similar to ours than actually dogs hair.
