Can cats and kittens have allergies?

I have a kitten, he sneezes from time to time. Earlier this year, he caught a cold after his surgery. He didn't have his booster shot and his immune system was low. I know he doesnt have a cold from earlier experience. By curiosity, cats and kittens have allergies too.

yes they can have allergies...I know that allergies to food are common and that the only alternative foods can be fairly expensive and I've heard of cats having seasonal allergies as well however I don't know much about that...if you suspect allergies a call to your vet may help you
My dog sneezes a lot in the spring so we think that has allergies so if humans and dogs can have allergies why not cats?
I believe that cats (and dogs) can be allergic to things. Our long-departed dog was allergic to flea bites and had to have shots to suppress her allergy.
personal experience
yes they can
ive been having my cat since 1998 and he sneezes all the time and has these breathing attacks and the vet told me he just has allergies. so yes cats can have allergies
