Really want dog...but mother has allergies?

my mom has horrible allergies. are there any dogs out there that people with allergies can still have? I know there are dogs that do not shed, but I do not think this is the cause of the allergies for my mother.

No. There are no hypoallergenic dogs.
Hybrids and designer dogs are the worst. Allergies can develop over time.

Anyone who tells you different hasn't had to haul a kid into ER at 3am because they can't breathe. Or have someone dump an older pet in rescue because they can handle it anymore. The shots and medicine aren't worth it and don't work. Source(s): Dog Rescue Director.

I'd talk with a breeder, but I'm pretty sure that there are "hypo-allergy" dogs out there such as Poodles and Bischon Fries.
Maybe try a hot dog? Well sorry, but I think you'll have to get a robotic dog or maybe just get an outside dog.
Soft coated wheaten terrier, but read carefully about these dogs first.

Poodles don't shed and tend to be hypoallergenic.....How about a Mexican Hairless?......only thing is they can't be out in the sun for any extended period of time or else they get sunburned.
