How do I stop my nose from itching (allergies)?

I'm losing my mind. I have allergies. Take Allegra. Throw some Benadryl on top of it. Nothing is stopping my nose from itching.

It has been itching for a few days (maybe a week and a half) and I keep rubbing. Now it is all red, the bone/cartilage underneath my nose actually hurts, so it is itchy, looks bad, and scratching makes it all hurt more.

WHAT DO I DO???

The allergy meds have kicked out the sneezing and coughing, and I don't have too much of a runny nose, just this ITCH.

Ever considered allergy shots? THEY SAVED ME!!! Allergy shots were not very expensive, they were relatively painless (most of the time, I don't even know when they stick me.), and they work! I am allergic to cats, dogs, all trees, shrubs, grass, bushes, nearly everything on my prick test came up positive. My nose used to itch like mad and I would get constant infections because of it, but I get allergy shots and they are the greatest thing I have ever gotten in my life. Right before you get your shots, you take an anti-histamine. Then, in 2 tiny diabetic syringes (tiny needle, too) they give you one shot in each arm, but it's in the back of the arm where most of the fat is. Your arm is never sore and there's no need for a bandaid! That's how small the needle is. When I got them, they eliminated ALL of my symptoms. I could leap into a mile high pile of dog and cat hair and it won't affect me one bit. ALLERGY SHOTS ARE WORTH IT. Once you get them and start seeing results, you will look forward to getting them. My doctor recommended saline spray for the nose! It works for me and I have every allergy in the book. Also ask your doctor about a prescription nose spray such as flonase or nasonex!
allergy shots dont hurt, and in 6 months my condition DRAMATICALLY improved. like, i wasnt allergic to animals anymore. IN SIX MONTHS.
