Get tested for allergies and avoid what bothers you. If you have severe allergies, get allergy shots. I was tired of the allergy symptoms and I had problems with allergy medicine. It either didn't work, gave me side effects or made me fall asleep. The allergy shots have helped me a lot and my allergies rarely bother me now and I don't have to take medicine anymore.
Loratadine is a drug used to treat allergies. It is marketed by Schering-Plough under several trade names such as Claritin, Claritine, Clarityn or Clarityne depending on the market, by Lek as Lomilan, by Ranbaxy as Roletra and by Wyeth as Alavert. It is also available as a generic. I suggest you buy the generic as I have found it for half the price, the chemical composition is exactly the same.
