Question about Alavert self dissolve for allergies?

They are a 24 hour dose, Yesterday my allegries were really bad and before the day was out , I had to take a 2nd dose. I took 2 self dissolve Alavert's in one day, when 1 is a 24 hour dose. Is that dangerous to do? What are the side affects of taking to many of those in a time frame like that? I don't normally have to take 2 but yesterday 1 didn't cut it and I couldn't breathe, so I took the second one. Anyone know if that's dangerous or deadly to do?

It probably will not harm you doing it once. However, 10mg is the maximum dosage that you should take in a 24 hour period. I would refrain from using ANY drug above the maximum dosing, but Alavert is generally a safe medication (hence the reason it went over the counter). If your allergies are bad enough to take 2 alavert, maybe you should switch to another medication.

Personally I take Zyrtec, but on those really bad days I take a 25mg benadryl instead. Sure it makes me tired, but at least I'm gasping for air.
doing it once should be ok. i don't think it's deadly. i've taken u to 5 pain killers at once for a really bad headache. you should be fine if you just did it the one time
