Can seeing a chiropractor help with allergies..since maybe nerve related? |
have really bad allergies cannot go out in heat or doing anything strenuous that takes a lot of energy becuz i will itch like crazy it feels like someone is pinching me all over really hard and then when i get cool it calms down and stops...allergy shots only help somewhat ...will chiroprator help? I am a chiropractor, and I will tell you that chiropractic in itself probably will not help your allergies all by itself... especially from your description of your symptoms. It sounds like a combination of vascular problems (circulatory) in conjunction with an allergy. This is a crazy thing, but I have all of my allergy patients buy & take "local honey"... honey from locally harvested bee hives... take a teaspoon of it a day, its like an allergy shot, in that you take in the pollens from your area... and much cheaper. and it really works. I am a firm believer in chiro. I play a TON of sports and used to always get fluid on my right knee. After seeing a chiropractor I never had another issue. He never even touched my knee just re-alligned my back. The back is the most important part of your body so i think it might help I've actually read studies where it has helped. Keep in mind though, that this doesn't mean you have exactly the same situation as the people who benefited in the study. There were those in the study who had no results. I personally know someone who had severe asthma symptoms and went to several doctors for it. They all said she didn't appear to have any inflammation in her lungs so standard treatments weren't available for her. She went to a chiro and an xray shows that she had subluxation around the nerve bundle that feeds the lungs. After about a month of adjustments, she was totally fine and has been for 6 years now. There are some that are very holistic minded. My sister swears by hers. He is far from conventional but what works works right? |
