Will allergy pills do anything?


can i take allergy pills and bc pills together, or will that mess it up?

High doses of vitamins, anticonvulsants, Valium, diuretics and short-term antibiotics have been known to affect birth control pills. However, allergy medication has not shown to cause any problems.

If you have any doubts with any medications, always check with the doctor before taking or consult a pharmacist.
I am not aware of any interaction -- however I haven't been on BC for a long long time.

If both are prescriptions, then I would talk to your pharmacist. They will know for sure (I wouldn't trust information you get here. Most of it is good, but there are some really screwy ones out here. )

If the allergy pills are over the counter, the pharmacist should still be able to help you.
