Im traveling to Japan in a week and Ive been wondering if my ears would hurt if i have minor allergies? |
My nose tend to clog up at times but i can still breathe through my nose and i can pop my ears in car rides. Im wondering if my ear would cause discomfort due to minor nasal congestions I have allergies, sinus problems, etc. and fly a lot - I rarely have more than a little twinge. Only once when I had an actual ear infection did I have any real pain. Check out Earplanes (http://www.cirrushealthcare.com/earplane... - they help a lot! only if somebody in Japan belts you on the ear what have allergies & japan got to do with oneanother? I dont understand Well be careful about flying when you're congested. It's harder for your middle ear and sinuses to equalize with the cabin pressure; in a person without any congestion, that little pop is the worst they'll experience. If you have severe congestion, it feels like someone's driving a nail right through your head. But you said 'minor allergies', so you should be okay to fly without worrying. But if you want, there are these little ear plugs that military pilots sometimes use when flying. Can't remember what they're called, but they work great. As for nose clog up, cosult otologic doctor before you leave. Or purchase nose spray for allergies such as follwings at drugstores in Japan. You can buy one without prescription. Prise is about US$9-15 each. Bien sprays (4 manufacturers) ------------------------------... ROHTO : Arufitto tenji spray pfizer: Kouru-taijin spray AG nose spray Sato : NAZAL Block spray Spray to your nose 1-3 time a day. 1 shot for each hole. BTW, take full responsibility for your actions. You seem to mean that you will be flying, and are worried about air pressure. but since you dont state that ,not everyone will understand your question. |
