Alzheimer's disease is transfarable?

Alzheimer's disease is transfarable?

You mean contagious or not? Its not contagious or not genetic too but dealings or working with them is worsen than alzheimer.

maybe through family

Do you mean can you catch it from somebody? NO. But dealing with someone who has it can make you feel crazy.

There may be a genetic probability, but not a contagious one.

alzhimers disease is not contaigous. but there have been some findings that if a relative begins showing signs at an early age (50's to early 60's) theyre close relatives are more likely to also have it.

No, It is a syndrome of old age.

if u mean contagious.. no its not
and its not genetically transfered either...
it happens through time..
you can prevent it by keeping your mind active..thinking..learning new things everyday
ex: crooswords, reading, math etc...

contagious? no
genetic? probably

it's not communicable like flu or a cold...it does have a genetic component and may run in families

Although not contagious, Alzheimer's disease has been shown to highly heritable. In fact it is has one of the highest correlations between phenotype expression and genetic variant (approx 40%). Specifically the APOE gene on chromosone 19, deals with cholestoral transport, has been implicated in contributing to the development of Alzheimers. If you inhereit one bad allele (e4 allele) you are 4x more likely to get Alzheimers, if you are homozygous for e4 you 8x more likely.

Physical activity (and cognitive activity) may help reduce your risk if you do carry the 'bad' allele
