Tumeric helps to prevent Alzheimer's disease - but Aluminium helps promote it ?

Is this scientifically proven?
Thing is - I have just cooked a chicken curry with tumeric, but I did cook it in an Aluminium pot. Would this cancel out the benefit/ risk?

Using aluminium pots is ok, so long as the surface is not worn away - it's eating the flecks of alu that scientists think is bad, not eating stuff cooked in the pot.

Don't know about tumeric full stop, but it's unlikely to be a simple case of balancing out - just use undamaged cookware and you'll be alright
