Do you know anyone with Alzheimer's disease?

Do you know anyone with Alzheimer's disease?

Yes, I know family and friends that have been victims of Alzheimer's disease.

One of those people is my neighbor. He's still in the early stages of A.D. You can see that he takes small steps when walking which is often a symptom.

His wife is very loving and caring and we chat often. I keep encouraging her to seek help when the chores of caring for a loved one become too great. Caretakers often forget to take care of themselves.

For a very informative book on this subject, get a copy of "The 36 Hour Day". It's the best handbook a family member or Adult Caregiver could own.

Yes, my great grandmother has it. It's getting worse unfortunately.

Yes, George Bush. He forgot that its a government, by the people, for the people. He thinks that its a government, by the corporation, for the corporation.

Thank goodness, no. It doesn't run in my family either. I feel like I have it sometimes...鈾?/div>

Not now, but my mother died from it back in 2000. I've known people who have died from most of the major diseases, but Alzheimer's is the most ghastly one -- in a lot of people, it turns into a horrible wasting condition towards the end. Just awful.

My uncle died last year -he had it- and it is a sad disease to watch it take over the mind-

Yes & its sad to see this person who was once so strong go through it 鈽?/div>
