What are the newset drugs for treatment of alzheimer's disease?

My dad has AD and he's currently enrolled in a study at Yale to test a new drug which is supposed to eliminate the plaque. Right now it's given by injection (IV drip actually); not sure if that will continue to be the delivery method if approved.

Believe it or not, marijuana has helped AD patients. Look at the Nov. 6, 2006 Time Issue (Dr. Gutpah).

Avoid red meat and eat lots of blueberries.
