Social Anxiety Disorder??? |
I was only prescribed Adderall for ADD, but when I found out it also fixed my social anxiety it was like I was saved. The reason why it helps my SAD is because words come in my head quicker than when off Aderall. I have a quick sense of humor. ***These were THE DEFINING factors in my personality before I developed SAD***. I was a hilarious introvert then became an unapproachable humorless introvert.I I want to know if there is anything that can "speed up" my communication thoughts and sense of humor that is healthier and not ADDICTIVE. I can't just be on ADDICTIVE adderall all day because I have the personality I want, but that seems to be my only choice. Is there anything else that has this effect???? i also take adderall and i know what you mean. you could try taking an antidepressant approved for treating SAD, like Zoloft or Effexor XR. i had a lot of relief when i took zoloft, and now with effexor. also, maybe consider counseling. the medicine wont help much long term unless you learn skills for how to cope with the disorder |
