Is this anxiety disorder? Please help if you have it!!? |
My heart rate has been at over 100 for the past couple of days (give or take..). I get nervous for no reason at all (about once/twice a week) and it lasts a couple of minutes. I also keep having this weird vision things where everything just squiggles (like a fun house mirror.) I know the last thing has nothing ot do w/ anxiety, but do the first two mean anything?! and i'm not overweight! Yes it's anxiety and vision can also be affected.Go see the doctor and get a health screening.Blood tests will show any abnormalities.Could be blood pressure/adrenolin/thyroid/virus etc etc You really do need to see a doctor first to make sure nothing serious is going on, but it does sound like anxiety attacks. I have had them for years. I feel like I am having a heart attack and like I am smothering to death. I take a medication called visteril for my anxiety attacks. It has helped wanders. Everybody is different, though. You should talk to your doctor, and let him prescribe something that works for you. A lot of times, if you take deep breaths while closeing your eyes, they will pass, but it is still miserable to have them. well if you have only had it for a couple of days i dnt know but yes they are syptoms of them. i had this from the age of 16 and still struggle now you should be happy it only happens a couple of minutes my lasts for hours. It sounds like it may be, but I think you should see a general practitioner first so he/she can rule out any physical ailments. If it's not a physical ailment, he/she can refer you to see a psychiatrist. |
