Anxiety? Confusion? Hectic personality disorders?

I have been feeling like this for almost two years now. I really don't know what's up with me, but I feel strange. I think that most people are against me and everything that could possibly go wrong will. I am always considering "what if"'s and it's starting to drive many people I know crazy. These events that could probably happen make me completely paranoid and I can't stop thinking about it afterwards.

I hate being around people, and when I have to be around people that I don't know well, I freak out. My heart beats fast and I get a cold sweat. It dissipates after awhile, but it's a rather annoying trait.

Sometimes I imagine events that never did happen and when I think about them for extended periods of time, I start to believe that they are real instead of fiction. O.o

I don't trust very well and I always manage to build hypothetical barriers around myself in attempt to keep myself from getting closer to the person/persons.

Should I see a doctor? Therapist? What should I do?

Also, I have some problems sleeping over many thoughts that I think about.

It just seems like everything that can go wrong in my life will... if that makes sense.

i can relate to feeling happy, stressed and depressed - all in on day because some days are just plain bad for me. you should see a doctor about this because it is affecting your social life and how you look at things for the worse and it is very bad for you building barriers because the pressure of making sure those people dont get close to you builds up and it hurts. talk to someone about how you feel, you dont have to tell them all the details but tell them what you feel comfortable telling them. but just talk about it to some one who you can trust and who will be able to support you. most days now i think people hate me or they dont like me and are not being honest when they say that they are not hiding how they feel towards me and i still have to work on that.

I have the same problem, started when I was 15-16 years old and has lasted almost a decade. I went to local mental health center, they diagnosed me with a few disorders, gave me medicine... and it never helped.

I've just had to live with it... if you find a better solution let me know!

The fact that you see that this is a problem tells me that you are not crazy :)
You should see a professional counselor. I would reccomend the website below to get you started.
