Eating disorder and anxiety help?

any advice to get me through it?..i see my therapist weekly but i need other support since its a daily struggle and i really overwelming my friends and family to the point where they break down and cry because they have no idea how to help me..please help i just had a 7 hour fight/guilt trip over not being able to run 6miles after 2 hours of dance

I am really sorry to hear what you are going through.

First of all, you are not alone, I have had certain anxiety attack type things, and I know how it is. I know how it is to feel tired, and frustrated, and angry, and wishing so much you could just be happy and not worry so much or be obsessing over things so much.

Maybe you should take another route regarding the help you are getting...there are so many options for people with eating disorders and I would definitely look into that.

I wish you the best of luck!

It is great that you are getting professional help to work on your anxiety and eating problem. It is good that you are aware that you need other support and that you are actually asking for it.

Keep working. You have asked for other support.

Tell us what other support you need, and we can try to help out.

coming from a recovering bulimic....you need more help then what you are getting. weekly counseling is not enough. you need to be put in an inpatient facility. have you concidered this?

jump into McDonalds and get your self 5 big macs... the rest should take care of it self....im kidding, what you need are some healthy fruits and vegatables. instaead of meat you should eat soy becuz meat rots in your system. best of luck.

I think you should seek group therapery. you'll listen to other's people situations. when your around people going threw the same problems as you, you get a different kind of support and understanding. I hope my advice helps and keep going strong!

YES I KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH.

THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS WRITE DOWN IN A JOURNAL WHEN YOU FEEL TROUBLED & FEEL THE NEED FOR FOOD FOR COMFORT.

THAT WAY THE THERAPIST CAN GET A PICTURE WHAT TRIGGERS YOU.

You seem to be getting good help, but you need to WANT to stop. The next time you think of vomiting, skipping a meal, or not exercising, tell yourself (maybe out loud) that you WANT and NEED to overcome this!

support groups, outreach programs, talking to friends and family members about it... all those things help. keeping the lines of communication open are good for recovery from any problem.

Girl al you need is a healthy diet and don't throw up. if your that concerned, have healthy meals and balance exercise.
