There is an OCD involving a need for order. Is there an opposite? A need for disorder? Anxiety over order?

Or is this related to hoarding? Or am I just really messy? How can I tell the difference?

Being a messy person can be related to a number of different things. Generally more creative people tend to be messier. I am a messy person, and for me, my messiness tends to reflect the chaos is my life. It's hard to tell if you have a problem with hoarding, because I can't see your place. I work at a family resource center, and some of our participants to have problems with hoarding. Their apartments have bags and piles of stuff they are saving, and some places you can hardly walk through all the stuff.

If you see things sitting neatly in a row, are you compulsed to mess up their order? That would be a sure sign of OCD. Now, if you're just collecting things and hoarding them, then I'm not so sure. I'd have to know more about it.
