What is the best medication for treating Anxiety and Panic Disorder? |
I've been on some medications in the past, none of them cured me only made things a little bit more managable and I was curious if anyone had a great success with any. Its a medical problem for me, it has nothing to do with "stress" or "worry", I've had the condition for the past 12 years or so. Sometimes it seems worse than others and I can get by with out Meds, but unfortunalty now I'm in a bad time. Xanax .25 mg was enough to help me, I took it twice a day to get me thru a rough patch medication for stress and anxiety will only mask the problem. The best, (and probably only real way to get rid of) your problem is to find ways to forget about your problems, yoga, running, fishing, meditating, anything to get your mind off of what you are worrying about. There is not a solution in a bottle for your problem paxil worked well for me... i would get panic attacks just taking a shower, going outside after dark, or from hearing a bump in the house which was normally our cat... the best solution is seeing someone about your problems though... there are also little tricks you can do to get that kind of thing out of your mind ... getting a dog makes your feel much safer and if you draw or add etc...you are focusing on what your doing vs letting your mind run on its own to freak you out... hope that helps some the list on this page will give you some guidance on what to try..these are quiet successful I have anxiety and panic disorder..I take zoloft works great....not addicting at all! |
