Why do I get nervous all the time? Do I have an anxiety disorder? |
When I'm around people I'm general, I get nervous and anxious. I get anxious to go to the doctor, dentist, take tests. The worst is when I get real nervous and the room is silent my stomach makes loud noises. I've been dealing with this forever. I even get nervous around family. I get nervous to pass in front of certain people. Do i have some sort of disorder or is it all in my head? Nothing happened in my past to create this, BTW. Hey. Calm down. You are the ****, and you have to believe you are the ****. That's how you answer this problem. The doctor should feel priviliged that he(she) gets to examine you, the dentist should not be worthy to open your mouth! Those tests- you know you can kick their butts. Those noises in your stomach are normal. It's your digestive system. Everybody has those noises. I have those noises. Your family thinks you are the bomb, and you know it! No need to be nervous around people who think the world of you. That's one way of looking at your situation. It sounds like you may have some form of an anxiety disorder, especially since you get nervous even around family. Or, you may have a severe case of being "shy." Shyness is defined as a social anxiety, an extreme self-consciousness when one is around people. I'd see if you could start seeing a mental health professional or a counselor of some sort about it, especially if it's really bothering you or interrupting your life in some way. Maybe talk to someone in your family first and then go from there. Generalized anxiety disorders do come from somewhere. You may know or may not know the trigger. However, since I haven't completed my psychological training yet I won't give advice. However, I will suggest some kind of counseling to figure out what the trigger is because it could be something that you've buried and are completely unaware of. We all secretly get nervous going to our dentist or doctor. Some people are like that more. My mother was one of the worst. But, you need to believe your own value more, and have courage. Fear, is not good especially around family. You must learn to stand on your own two feet and make something of yourself. Do you want to stay afraid of people and life from now on? You will miss out on the joy of life! What will you do if you are in a dangerous situation? If you need professional help, then please seek it. But, don't keep fear in your life. Smile and be proud of being alive! nah, I get nervious too.. everybody does xD although some people seem more comfortable.. that or hypochondria. |
