Anxiety Disorders?? |
i think i have Anxiety Disorders....I mean i get very nervous just going to school everyday knowing i will do the same thing and see the same people....so today i searched it and it kinda seems i have some of the symptoms....I get nervous very fast over the smallest things.....so what would i do??...Im only 14 ~ I use to go through the same thing when I was younger.. The first thing to do is talk to your parents about these feelings of anxiety and see if they will find you a psychologist or a psychiatrist who specializes in treating children and teens. If your parents ignore your feelings of anxiety then I would visit a school counselor and tell her/him how you feel. Maybe they can talk to your parents for you. Don't give up talking about it until you get someone to listen to you. Anxiety disorders not only affect how you feel but they also affect your body and can make you physically sick. Good Luck and remember... Keep talking to someone until you get someone to listen and help. Learn some coping mechanisms by figuring out why you get nervous and talk to friends about your thoughts. But the popular responses will be....go talk to a counselor.....or talk to your doctor. I'm in the medical field but not a big advocate of doping up kids/teens....it's alot healthier to talk about stuff and helps you grow as a person. Good Luck tell your parents before things get out of control..... |
