Social Anxiety Disorder VS. Speech?

Ok how does a person with Social Anxiety Disorder make it through speech?

From talking to past students, you have to make eye contack which is something that I have avioded my entire life. I have to pass to graduate.

Serious answers and advise please. I've talked to my docter but well I'd like some answers from someone that understands these types of anxieties.

I have social anxiety also and that is a pretty daunting thing do do but when you've done it you've taken a huge step in your recovery and other things that seem challenging to you now will be a lot easier to do. Overcoming social anxiety is all about pushing out your comfort zones and putting yourself in situations where you know you will feel anxiety so I commend you and hope i can do the same one day. It's not all about making eye contact, you can just look at one side of the room then look at the other side then down the middle, you could just look at peoples sweatshirts or look at their hair so you don't HAVE TO make eye contact. Just have your stuff prepared, speak slowly, clearly and assertively and look around the room when your speaking, you probably won't even be aware of what your looking at cos you'll be concentrating so hard on the speaking. You've got a mouth and a voice so you can speak as well as if not better than most people in your school so just prove to yourself that you can do it, no sweat. hope that helped, best of look bro
