Why do so many people have anxiety, mood disorders ?

most of the people who visit chiropractors don't have anything wrong with them other than anxiety.
working too much, being wealthy or poor doesn't make a difference.
is it because of chemicals in the food ? chemtrails ? cell phone towers ?

if it's just a brain problem why is worse today than in the past ?
there has to be something about the world today that is making the problem worse.

Yeah, pesticides, herbicides, chemicals in processed foods, nutrients being processed out of our foods, etc.

Plus, people seem to be douchier than in past generations.
Look at Rap culture alone. It's hard to be calm when you live in a society which glorifies violence, prostitution, theft, drugs, disrespect for women and parents and society in general, etc.
That's just one example.

I would say that inadequate companionship and inadequate friendly social interaction between people in the community is the cause of it.

People's lives are regimented at work and in school. And they often aren't free to socialize normally with each other. And in the big cities, most people hardly know their neighbors. Relatives often moves away from each other and don't see each other much. Many people get divorced and often don't have much contact even with some of their closest relatives.

People are social beings. And when they cannot fulfill well their need for socializing and companionship. Then it's only natural that they don't feel well, emotionally speaking that is.

It's not that people in past decades or times didn't, they did. It was termed a "nervous condition" or something else. I think some people just have a propensity for anxiety disorders and depression, and the fast-living, competitive world we live in brings it out in them. And it's not true that all people who visit chiropractors go because of anxiety in itself. I had a huge muscle spasm in my back that caused me pain 24/7. I am not saying it wasn't brought on by anxiety problems though.

Mood disorders tend to run in families. These disorders are associated with imbalances in certain chemicals that carry signals between brain cells (neurotransmitters). These chemicals include serotonin, norepinephrine, and dopamine. Women are more vulnerable to unipolar depression than are men. Major life stressors (like divorce, serious financial problems, death of a family member, etc.) will often provoke the symptoms of depression in susceptible people.

its a sign of the times. yes polutants, yes increase stress. and people dont know how to deal with it. also. with two working parents to pay bills. children and teens are left to raise themselves. they arent getting the guidence they need. they are raising themselves and not all are doing a good job of it. they have no where to turn for advise.and they dont know how to take failure. some look for guidence in doctors, pills or other drugs so they dont have to feel the emptyness inside.

Or maybe it's people not being able to deal with reality, so they instead choose to blame it on a disorder. This is then treated by drugs, making many people a lot of money.

It is human original nature, Its not only many people also all people. mood some time order some disorder.
