Generalized anxiety disorder?

DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS CONDITION? HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCED NUMBNESS IN FACE AND HANDS AND FEEL LIKE YOUR BODY IS SHAKING INSIDE? I HAD MRI AND CT SCAN TO RULE OUT OTHER THINGS, THEY CAME OUT FINE... I AM FRUSTRATED AND VERY DOWN, CAN SOME PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE HAD THIS?

yes, yes, yes...i know exactly what you are feeling. About 6 months ago and prior to that I thought I was dying. The numbness, that's because you are hyperventilating. You are breathing out more than breathing in-causing lack of oxygen in your body. I tried all kinds of therapy, because I DID NOT WANT ANY MEDICATION. For about half a year, I lived with panic attacks everyday and I just couldn't stand it. I tried therapy, biofeedback, herbs, etc. Nothing worked. I was getting so frustrated and feeling so depressed. Panic attacks are the scariest feelings in the world. Nobody understands what you are going through unless they have really experienced it. I would say to please don't waste any time and get a prescription for it while it is still not too bad. They will turn into full-blown panic attacks and you won't be able to leave your house-let alone stand up and leave your couch. Believe me----that was me. Everyone was frustrated with me and they thought it was all in my head. I finally went to a doctor, and he prescribed Zoloft. I do not recommend that...the first time I took it..i thought I was seeing shadows. So then finally I went to my real family doctor and he recommended Lexapro. Great stuff!!! It saved my life. He put me on a very low dose for two weeks (5mg) and then he moved me up to 10mg and that's where I still am currently. It practically has no side effects except for making you feel better of course. If the dose is too high at first, you'll have cramping and diarhea. If you've had panic attacks, or have panic attacks, it will be a few days before you feel a difference. They say it takes 4-6 weeks to get FULL effects, but you will feel a small difference everyday until then. I hope I'm making sense. I make it a goal to help people that are going through what I went through. It is some scary ****, and I really feel for you. DO NOT LET THEM PUT YOU ON XANAX OR VALIUM-that stuff only works for a little bit and is addictive. I pray for you. I wish you would keep me updated. Don't let this go on forever like I did. well.......one reason for this may be hyperthyroid....there is a blood test for this,and can be treated w/medicine or just killing the thyroid,w/radiation....check this out and see...good luck.......
yea besides all that, my hands would tingle and go numb too. my heart would race, I either think im having a heart attack or stroke. Anxiety sucks, just know it cant kill you and try to ignore it. If you cant get help because some people end up not being able to leave there house. Anxiety sucks, dont let it ruin your life.
You have to be careful if you are taking medications; that may be it. In these days, they don't care about killing you or causing you to have to get an operation, so long as they cure your head-ache. More money for them.

Medications do caused this type of thing. Check yourself for lumps as small pimples that are actually sis that can also become large. They can develop inside you where you can't even feel them or know about it.
