How do you handle your social anxiety disorder? Hi. The best thing for this I truly believe is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This is something you should do with a therapist- but you can even do it yourself. If you do do CBT- then put in an extreme effort. It does work. example: http://www.cci.health.wa.gov.au/resource... ------------- Other than therapy there are other things you can do. For example you can use steps to increase the amount of social activity. For example go somewhere with a friend and afters go by yourself. Also important: Breathing! Extremely important. Breath low in the area of your stomach - breath in through you nose (4 secs.) hold (2 secs), breath out through your nose. (4 secs). In the beginning use the palm of your hand to make sure your breathing from your belly. Also exercise: extremely important! Try to exercise 4-7 times a week. good friends or meds Find someone to speak with about it! Maybe medication would help, also. |
