My friend has an anxiety disorder and has panic attack, is there...?

Is there any way to help her prevent them?

Yeah. Anti-anxiety pills like Xanax, Valium, Klonopin, etc. They work really great but can be addictive. All I can say is that they work for me! Source(s): MY HEAD

I have them too. I currently take Buspar it seems to help alot.
I recommend she see a counselor or her regular md.
Tell her to take lots of xanax
Experience
I went through panic disorder myself. The doctors and phychs put me through a regiment of different pills to try and keep the attacks at bay. at the end of a year with panic disorder, (note that i do not recommend this for everyone) I stopped taking my medicine because it wouldnt stop that terrible fear that would take me. I went out into the woods and let the fear tear me apart, thought i was going to die, had tremors and shakes it got so bad. After I let that one panic attack work its way through me, they got less and less powerful. I now live a life free of panic attacks, and find i deal with stress better then i could of ever imagined. I hope some of this helps your friend. I know how hard it is to have panic disorder/anxiety disorder. My support goes out to him/her and I wish them strength in their hard times.
