Do you think I have anxiety disorder? |
I was supposed to go to a job interview today. I did go. But days before, I was aticipating that I was going to be nervous. When I was was in the interview. I got so nervous, My hear was pounding fast and the veins on the side of my head was pounding too. I got so tense, I couldn't speak like I normally would. My voice was trembling. My problem started in high school. I was always anxious and when it comes to some classes my heart will be pounding till the class ends. I had my most frustrating moments in school. leaving school, I got better. But I still have the problem where i get anxious in social situations depending. My father also has a history of depression and he also thinks too much also. It could possibly be a form of a panic attack. My panic attacks make me feel like I'm kind of "out of my body" and my heart races and I feel like I might faint. I also feel like I have to lay down. Ativan works wonders for those attacks. Source(s): I have bipolar disorder and there is a history of depression in my immediately family too. well you probaly had a anixiety attack.i had one before.Mabye you should get treated for that yes it is an anxiety disorder, discuss it with a doctor, he can help Join Toastmaster's International. Give enough speeches during their meetings, and you'll outgrow the problems you've described. The members are all in the same boat as you're in, so they're non-judgemental. Good Luck. It could just be what is called stage fright... Or a simple form of social anxiety If it is a panic attack then it would only last for the most of 5 minutes... Social anxiety can be kept in control by medication such as ativan which was mentioned, or xanax, or valium, etc... Sometimes you have to experiment to find out what works for you... Good Luck sounds like anxiety or panic attack |
