My hand always gets sweaty because of my anxiety disorder...what do i do when someone tries to hold it?

its so gross, but a lot of the time when i go outside i have cold, sweaty, sticky hands. and what if a guy tries to hold my hand? any advice?is there a way to get rid of it? has this ever happened to you?

i used to have sweaty hands 24/7 !!!!! :( i hate it. well i dont have sweaty hands all the time now i guess it decreases over the time as you grow up. But i remember when my bf tried to hold my hand for the first time guess what? his were sweaty too!! So dont worry that much or it will get worse just relax and dont think about it and it wont happen. As you grow up youll gain confidence in yourself and the sweaty hands will be gone.

If you truly have an anxiety disorder, did you speak to your family Dr. about it? There are meds. available to help you get this under control because I did. Anxiety now days is a very common thing & can be taken care of. I think if you get rid of the "root" of the problem, that would be the best thing to do. I honestly don't know what to tell you, but maybe if you kept a clean handkerchief in your pocket or pocketbook, maybe you could just hold on to it for a moment to get rid of the sweatyness at least. Other than that, I'd say to try to talk to your Dr. & see what he/she can give you to help you w/this. Best to you...:)

my friend & i have the same exact problem. Try certain dri (its says only apply to underarms but i asked my dermatologist and he said it is fine if you put it on your hands. It may not work considering your body type. Everyone is different. Also try drysol. Hope this helps

good luck

my bf's hands are always sweaty. and we have now been together for 2 years, so it's not like he's still nervous with me. but i thought it was cute the first time, and i still do!

Wipe the sweat on your pants, still kinda gross but that way there's no sticky hand-holding :-)

Yes ... Its only human. Everyone gets that when nervous

stick a couple of tissues in your pocket, you'll be fine! :)
